Christians. They knew the Old Testament Scriptures taught that with the coming of the Messiah, Israel would be saved and blessed and many wonderful promises would be fulfilled. However, Jesus the Messiah had come and Israel as a nation had rejected Him. The early Christians wondered what would happen to the promises God had given to Israel. Would God go back on His word?
